For some time now, users have turned to the adaptive guide bush solution to overcome bar diameter variation. And, quite successful it has been too, except.. sometimes the standard three shell bush just doesn’t quite do it! Torsion or twisting can affect concentricity, and tight tolerances can be hard to achieve. The SDK and SSK bushes have been developed to overcome these problems. No springs, or retaining clips to lose, these one piece bushes are more rigid, more accurate and less prone to swarf ingress. Available in ‘AMPCO’ bronze which can be re-bored to a new diameter if required, coated steel, or even carbide lined.
