Up to 50% Time Saving!
The manufacture of threads on tough materials with tensile strength > 800 N/mm² usually are single-pointed turned. Mainly on longer threads this can take quite some time in relation to the entire machining process.
Significant time savings can be achieved using a Schwanog single-point threading tool on which, depending on application, we have integrated two or more finish teeth. That saves you a significant amount of travel meaning that, depending on pitch and thread length, you can achieve up to 50% in time savings.
