Technical Partners promote aerospace technologies at the Marches Centre

In-Comm Training and Manufacturing Group, in collaboration with its technical partners, including WNT, is hosting an open house at its £4m Marches Centre of Manufacturing & Technology (MCMT) in Bridgnorth. The event will highlight the advanced technologies that are currently supporting the aerospace industry and, how the UK supply chain can make use of automation, Industry 4.0 and a highly skilled workforce to achieve higher levels of productivity.

Taking place on the 28th June 2018 the event runs from 09:00 to 13:00 and features several industry speakers. In addition, there are opportunities to discuss face-to-face a range of world class technologies in cutting tools, robotics, CNC machine tools, metrology and wire EDM from technical partners such as: WNT (part of the Ceratizit Group); Blum; Engineering Technologies Group; Hexagon; Mitsubishi EDM; Hyfore; and Guhring. Those attending the open house can also tour the 36,000 ft2 MCMT training hub, which is a unique employer-led centre developed to support 2020 learners by 2020 with apprenticeships and upskilling opportunities.

This aerospace open house event is the first in a series that will combine keynote

presentations from sector experts with live demonstrations of some of the technologies

that In-Comm Training and its technical partners have to offer. Bringing together like-minded businesses is a strategy designed to improve skills and productivity in the UK, through adoption of world-class equipment and engineering technology, which is aimed at improving

efficiencies throughout manufacturing while also developing skills.
