Rowan Easter-Robinson is with Shaun Hill from AM Hydraulics to ask why they invested in the Toshiba VTL from Leader CNC and what benefits they get from vertical CNC boring. A massive reduction in cycle times, reduced spindle downtime, and efficiency to perform multiple tasks on one machine are some of the achievements for AM Hydraulics. The company is able to supply parts to industries such as defence, oil and gas, and general machining. The vertical bore allows for machining of large parts in excess of 200 kg.
