Graeme Troughton to Oversee Both Vargus UK and Posithread, Driving Growth and Innovation

Graeme Troughton, currently Managing Director of Vargus UK, will now add to his duties by taking on the additional position of Managing Director at Posithread. Both companies are part of the Neumo Ehrenberg Group, one of Europe’s largest privately owned manufacturers and distributors of stainless steel products and metal cutting tools.

Established in the North East of England in 1986, Posithread manufactures carbide threading tools using state-of-the-art 5-axis profile grinding machines. The company produces a wide range of products, including licensed premium threads for VAM, JFE, Hunting, Tenaris, and NS Connections. Posithread also offers an extensive selection of standard indexable thread turning and thread milling products, solid carbide thread milling tools, and custom tool solutions for the global market, with short lead times.

With the new position effective immediately, Graeme Troughton commented: “This exciting challenge enables me to continue growing the Vargus brand with my talented team in the UK whilst simultaneously evolving our Posithread brand both in the UK and worldwide.
