Renault Nissan Expands Presence in Tamil Nadu with New Workspace for 2,000 Employees!

Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India (Renault Nissan Tech) has officially opened a new state-of-the-art workspace in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The newly designed office, located at Ascendas IT Park in Mahindra World City SEZ, spans 138,000 square feet and will accommodate an additional 2,000 employees. This expansion underscores Renault Nissan’s commitment to delivering innovative mobility solutions globally for both Renault and Nissan.

The inauguration, which was part of the Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2024, was virtually led by Chief Minister Thiru M.K. Stalin, with key executives like Akira Hanzawa, Senior VP of Nissan Engineering & Costing, and Eva James, VP of Global Service Delivery at Renault Nissan Tech, in attendance.

The modern workspace is tailored to foster collaboration and productivity, featuring open-plan layouts, meeting rooms, and work cafés. According to Debashis Neogi, Managing Director of Renault Nissan Tech, the center will focus on advanced automotive technologies such as AI, software validation, simulation technologies, and cloud migration.

This new office marks a significant milestone for Renault Nissan Tech in its quest to become a leading automotive technology hub, contributing to the global advancement of mobility solutions while attracting top talent in deep tech sectors.
