This portable collaborative measurement system enables the automated edge measurement of milling and drilling cutters with a shaft length of up to 1M in length. The system can also be used for measuring precision features on large objects, for example splines on shafts and large gear wheels. The system can also be manually moved to large objects that require measurement of local features/defects on large objects.
