At TIMTOS 2023, Colin Griffiths of MTDCNC meets Richard Pearson of Ward Hi-Tech to get a closer look at the full 5-axis machine. Equipped with the HEIDENHAIN control and HSK 100 spindle, the flexible lathe offers milling, turning, and grinding functions and a configuration that allows for up to 3 meters in table size. The exceptionally powerful machine is capable of really accurate small cuts as well as big depths of cut. With a 120-tool magazine, built-in presetter, and 75kW spindle power, the machine is designed to keep running.
