Specialised prototyping services for space research

MTDCNC’s Tony Gunn is here for another episode on education and manufacturing at the Arizona State University machine shop. The team at ASU are working on some incredible projects going out to space and in the ocean. James Makar of the ASU Machine Shop talks about their prototyping services where they do a lot of specialised work in different fields of research, including work on biofuels, cells that desalinate water, eco-friendly solutions, and various other small projects to help researchers on campus. Having the shop on campus helps James and his team of great designers and machinists easily accommodate changes to projects. Standing in front of an EDM machine in the Methods building, James acknowledges the incredible service and support from Methods Machine Tools, enabling the prototyping engineers to resolve issues as quickly as possible! Find out more from James on the amazing projects happening at one of the largest research facilities in the US.
