From raw blank to finished part in ONE cell at Nakamura-Tome

How is manufacturing done in Japan with Nakamura-Tome? Tony Gunn of MTDCNC meets Shogo Nakamura of Nakamura-Tome to understand the process of turning raw material into a finished part all in one automation cell. Combining a FANUC robot with the Nakamura-Tome Super NTX and a 5-axis machining centre from YASDA, raw blanks are loaded and come out as finished parts, allowing the flexibility to multi-task on other parts as well. Hear more from Shogo and Tony as they explain how automation creates massive success while allowing employees to move from mundane, redundant work to more creative and high-skill jobs.
