Vericut has introduced two AI-powered tools—Vericut Intelligence (VI) and Vericut Assistant (VA)—to improve user interaction and make its software more accessible. These tools are designed to streamline access to Vericut’s comprehensive software suite, which includes Vericut, Composites, Vericut Optimizer, and other modules.
Vericut Intelligence (VI) acts as an extensive knowledge hub, offering insights on all aspects of Vericut’s software, ranging from simple definitions like “what is force?” to more complex details such as “what is X-Caliper?” Meanwhile, Vericut Assistant (VA) provides practical support by guiding users through specific features and tasks. VA answers how-to questions within the software and assists with actions such as “how do I use Auto-Diff?” and more advanced interactions like “add a tool with these criteria.”
Both tools prioritize user privacy, ensuring that customer data remains secure and is not used to train the AI. Available with Vericut’s next major release, these tools represent Vericut’s commitment to enhancing productivity and software accessibility while setting a high standard for privacy in AI. Frankie Cates, Vericut’s director of information and security, emphasized that VI and VA are part of a long-term strategy to integrate AI into Vericut’s offerings, focusing on productivity and user experience.
