Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has launched a state-of-the-art R&D facility in Bangalore, India, marking a significant investment in local innovation. This new center will focus on pioneering sealing technologies, especially in material and design innovations for industries like hydraulics, off-highway, and industrial automation. With a specialized focus on analyzing elastomer compounds for tensile strength, tear resistance, and more, Trelleborg aims to enhance local capabilities and foster stronger partnerships across Asia Pacific.
Key company leaders, including Dr. Konrad Saur, Vice President of Innovation and Strategic Business Development, and Vinay Balakrishnan, General Manager for Industrial Asia Pacific, emphasized the importance of this R&D center in meeting both global and local demands, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards. Salome Martin, Director of R&D Services in India, noted that this facility will closely collaborate with customers to align innovations with their growth goals.
