Tech Mahindra has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Marshall Group to foster innovation in the aerospace and defence sectors. This strategic collaboration will see Tech Mahindra supporting Marshall’s engineering programs, focusing on aircraft design, production, special mission systems, and digital maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO).
Marshall Group will leverage Tech Mahindra’s expertise in data analytics and intelligent field support technologies to enhance the operational efficiency of its infrastructure solutions. Additionally, Tech Mahindra will spearhead design projects aimed at developing hydrogen fuel systems, a step toward replacing fossil fuels and promoting sustainability in aviation.
Narasimham RV, President of Engineering Services at Tech Mahindra, emphasized the pressing challenges facing the aerospace and defence sectors, including the need for increased productivity and advancements in sustainable technologies. The partnership aims to address these challenges by combining the unique strengths of both companies to drive growth and innovation in the aerospace industry.
Gareth Williams, Chief Operating Officer at Marshall, noted that both companies share a commitment to providing critical support to their customers while also offering complementary strengths. This partnership is poised to accelerate the development of cutting-edge solutions in aerospace engineering, with both companies contributing their extensive expertise in areas like aerostructures, electrical and mechanical engineering, airworthiness, and stress testing.
