Star SU Appoints Richard Rickert as Round Tool Product Manager!

Star SU, the marketing, sales, and service affiliate of Star Cutter Company, has announced the appointment of Richard (Rick) Rickert as its new Round Tool Product Manager. Based at the company’s Farmington Hills office, Rickert will report directly to Star SU President Andreas Blind.

In his new role, Rickert will Identify customer needs and emerging market trends to guide product development, build and maintain relationships with key accounts and support regional sales distributors to achieve company sales goals.

Rickert brings over 35 years of industry experience, making him a valuable asset to Star SU. His career began with hands-on roles in machining before transitioning to engineering and sales management. Prior to rejoining Star, Rickert served for 15 years as a territory manager with Guhring in Brookfield, Wisconsin, where he excelled in sales development and customer relationship management.

“As a previous Star employee, we are thrilled to welcome Rick back to the team,” said Blind. “His deep understanding of machining applications, engineering, and sales management, combined with his ability to cultivate trust and deliver customer satisfaction, makes him a perfect fit for this role.”
