Penn United Technologies, based in Cabot, Pennsylvania, has bolstered its advanced manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of the AMCM M 4K Additive Manufacturing machine. This cutting-edge technology, developed by AMCM, an EOS Group company, marks a significant step in Penn United’s mission to meet growing demand for additively manufactured components across multiple energy sectors, including alternative energy, nuclear energy, and battery storage.
The company will initially focus on 316L stainless steel, leveraging the M 4K’s capabilities to produce highly precise and qualified components tailored to the stringent requirements of regulated energy markets. This investment reflects Penn United’s commitment to serving its customers with innovative solutions that meet the challenges of modern energy applications.
Penn United combines its new Additive Manufacturing capabilities with expertise in machining, grinding, and EDM to offer a full spectrum of manufacturing services.
