Kingsbury Launches Kingsbury Middle East LLC to Expand Reach in GCC Region

Gosport-based turnkey production solution provider, Kingsbury, is extending its footprint into the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region with the establishment of a subsidiary in Dubai, Kingsbury Middle East LLC.

Previously, Kingsbury’s agency agreements only covered the UK and Ireland for all machine tool manufacturing principals. However, new contracts have been inked to empower the wholly-owned daughter company to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and Kuwait.

The machines offered by Kingsbury’s three divisions – Large Prismatic Machines (LPM), Milling Turning Grinding (MTG), and Additive Manufacturing (AM) – will be marketed through this venture.

Heading the Dubai subsidiary is Regional Director & General Manager, Neil Harrington, bringing extensive experience from senior management roles in the Middle East, Europe, and North Africa. Harrington’s expertise in selling and delivering high-value, technologically advanced plant and equipment positions him well for this new role.

Richard Kingsbury, managing director of Kingsbury, expressed enthusiasm for the venture, stating, “We are thrilled to expand our machine tool sales into the Middle East, a move we believe will significantly boost our engineering division’s turnover by the end of the decade.”

He added, “Our strategy is to replicate the successful business model we’ve employed in the UK and Ireland for over 60 years in the GCC. We’ve curated a portfolio of agencies from top manufacturers, enabling us to offer the right production platform across a wide spectrum of demands.”

Kingsbury emphasized their commitment to delivering manufacturing solutions with the lowest end-to-end cost per part, coupled with unmatched accuracy, reliability, and repeatability. He concluded, “We are excited to bring our proven delivery model to the Middle East.”
