Isuzu Motors India has inaugurated a new Skill Development and Experience Centre in Noida, aimed at elevating customer service standards and fostering technician excellence. Located in Sector-10, the state-of-the-art facility will deliver comprehensive training programs for technicians, advisors, and service managers from Isuzu’s expanding network of dealer partners across northern India and surrounding regions.
The Noida centre, featuring a brand experience area with two-vehicle displays in a themed setting, builds on the success of Isuzu’s Chennai-based talent development centre, which has been operational since 2014. Isuzu’s top executives, including President and Managing Director Rajesh Mittal and Deputy Managing Director Toru Kishimoto, were present to inaugurate the facility in a ceremony attended by select dealer partners and employees.
This new regional facility will focus on skill enhancement, offering tailored learning modules that span a wide range of technical knowledge about Isuzu vehicles. The training will include essential aspects such as drivetrain management, advanced maintenance techniques, and service-related problem-solving. The modules will blend classroom instruction with practical, hands-on experience in fully equipped work bays, ensuring well-rounded learning for participants.
The centre is equipped to train batches of 15 to 20 dealer staff members, guided by specialized Isuzu service coaches. These sessions are expected to significantly enhance service capabilities, aligning with Isuzu’s commitment to delivering superior customer satisfaction.
Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, highlighted the importance of training and development in the company’s operations. He remarked, “As the world’s leading producer of commercial vehicles, Isuzu places great emphasis on dealer technician skill development as a key pillar to improving service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction.”
Additionally, the Noida centre will serve as a training ground for the national team of technicians representing India in the prestigious I-1 Grand Prix World Technical Competition. India’s team has earned notable recognition, ranking among the top 10 teams in the global competition, which features participants from 24 countries. This centre will play a pivotal role in further enhancing the skills of India’s top automotive technicians.
