IMTEX FORMING 2024: Unveiling Metal Forming Innovation

IMTMA’s renowned showcase of metal forming technologies, IMTEX FORMING, is set to kick off at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, from January 19 to 23, 2024, featuring an impressive lineup of over 550 exhibitors hailing from 18 countries.

The Indian Machine Tool industry has shown robust performance within the Capital Goods sector in 2023, with a remarkable 55 percent increase in machine tool consumption, amounting to approximately `24,500 crore (around US$3 billion) during FY 2022-23.

With the Metal Forming sector witnessing a market size of around `5,300 crore (about US$646 million) in FY 2022-23, and an anticipated compound annual growth rate of 10 – 15 percent over the next 3-5 years, IMTEX FORMING 2024 promises to be a pivotal event for the industry.

Expanding by around 80 percent compared to its previous edition, IMTEX FORMING 2024 is poised to be a comprehensive showcase, featuring concurrent shows like Weldexpo, Tooltech, and Digital Manufacturing, along with co-located events organized by Messe Stuttgart India and the Indian Institute of Welding India.

The exhibition will spotlight cutting-edge technologies such as fiber laser machines with face recognition, servo presses, 3D printing solutions, die forging hammer technology, plasma cutting power, and much more, catering to the evolving needs of the metal forming and manufacturing sectors.
