At IMTS 2024, FANUC is putting the spotlight on automation and CNC machining with a comprehensive booth that demonstrates the latest in robotic technology and machine tools. With real-time demonstrations, visitors can see FANUC’s robots in action, performing tasks like inspection, guidance, and painting, many of which feature integrated vision systems for enhanced precision.
The new R-50iA robot controller, a highlight of the event, brings innovation with integrated vision, cybersecurity, and energy efficiency improvements. Beyond robotics, FANUC is also showcasing its ROBODRILL VMC α-D28LiB5ADV Plus Y500 machine, designed for high-speed, precise machining, and paired with CNC Guide simulation software for live digital twin machining demonstrations.
The fan-favorite “Ghost Machine” demonstration, featuring the forthcoming Series 500i-A controls for five-axis machining, is also part of the booth. With immersive real-time machining displays from multiple angles, FANUC is setting the standard for the future of manufacturing technology.
