FANUC India, a leading provider of factory automation solutions, has marked another milestone by expanding its operations in Tamil Nadu. The company inaugurated a new 15,000-square-foot Technology Centre in Neelambur, Coimbatore, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing India’s manufacturing capabilities. This new centre will cater to the region’s industrial needs, especially in the growing manufacturing hub of Coimbatore, which houses over 2,000 companies.
Yuki Kita, President and CEO of FANUC India, highlighted the company’s long-standing partnership with Indian manufacturers. “For over 30 years, FANUC has been a trusted partner in India. This new Technology Centre demonstrates our dedication to advancing Indian manufacturing and enhancing its global standing,” said Kita.
The Coimbatore centre follows the opening of another Technology Centre in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, and aligns with FANUC’s strategy to offer enhanced service and support to Tamil Nadu’s industrial sector. The facility will focus on cutting-edge technologies, including CNC controllers, Laser CNC, robots, vertical machining centres, electric injection molding machines, and CNC wire EDM.
FANUC’s Service First motto is central to the new centre, which will provide comprehensive support and system integration services. With 22 service locations across India, FANUC aims to ensure its customers receive exceptional lifetime support.
To celebrate the launch, FANUC is hosting an Open House at the Coimbatore centre, offering industry professionals a chance to explore its latest innovations in factory automation.
