Ceratizit has announced the promotion of Dan Cope to President of the Americas for Ceratizit Group. Cope joined the company in 2019 as Executive Vice President of Cutting Tools and has been recognized for implementing a successful sustainable growth plan for the U.S. cutting tools division. In his new role, Cope will oversee additional business units including Hard Materials Solutions, Round Tool Blanks, Preforms, and Private Label.
Cope’s expanded responsibilities now encompass not only the U.S. market but also Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. With over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, Cope brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional results. He is set to drive strategic initiatives and growth throughout the Americas.
“One of Ceratizit’s key advantages globally is the full ownership of the carbide supply chain, from the ore to the finished tool,” Cope explains. “This supply chain ownership truly sets us apart in our industry. With a focus on the Americas market, I’m proud to continue the growth journey for our Cutting Tools division, as well as the Round Tool Blanks, Preforms, and Private Label divisions. The potential of the Hard Materials Solutions division, particularly for wood, stone, and wear parts, is truly exciting, especially in the U.S.”
Cope’s promotion is a testament to his extensive industry knowledge and his ability to drive sustainable growth, making him a trusted advisor and partner for both customers and employees.
