Atul Auto’s electric mobility division, AGPL, has entered into a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to expand the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) across India. This collaboration aims to promote AGPL’s electric three-wheelers, the ENERGIE and ENERGIE 2 models, through HPCL’s extensive HP GAS distributor network. The objective is to encourage the uptake of environmentally friendly transport solutions in both urban and rural areas.
HPCL, a prominent player in refining and distributing petroleum products, also serves millions of customers through its robust HP GAS distribution network. This partnership leverages HPCL’s wide reach and established customer base, making AGPL’s electric vehicle offerings more accessible throughout the country. The collaboration aligns with India’s national push for electric vehicles and the adoption of cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions.
The ENERGIE and ENERGIE 2 electric three-wheelers are designed to meet the growing demand for affordable, eco-friendly transportation in diverse regions. By utilizing HPCL’s extensive distribution network, AGPL aims to provide accessible green mobility solutions, crucial for both densely populated urban areas and less served rural regions.
Dr. Vijay Kedia, Director of Atul Auto, highlighted the significance of the partnership in AGPL’s ongoing commitment to advancing electric mobility in India. He noted that this collaboration aligns with the country’s broader efforts to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable energy alternatives, creating value for customers while supporting the transition to environmentally friendly transportation.
