Ashok Leyland Honoured with the Mother Teresa Award for Corporate Citizen of the Year 2024!

Ashok Leyland has been recognised with the Mother Teresa Award for Corporate Citizen of the Year 2024 by the Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA). This prestigious honour celebrates the company’s significant contributions to education, environmental sustainability, and community welfare, reinforcing its role as a leader in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

One of Ashok Leyland’s flagship CSR initiatives is the Road to School (RTS) programme, which was launched in 2015 to provide quality education to underserved students. To date, the programme has benefitted over 4.8 lakh students across 2,500 government schools in India. In 2024 alone, 92,000 new students joined the program, with an ambitious target to reach one million students by FY26. The RTS programme focuses on holistic education, sports, and the overall well-being of children, ensuring a well-rounded development approach.
