Addverb is set to make a significant leap into the humanoid robotics market with the planned launch of its humanoid robot in 2025. This marks a new phase in the company’s evolution from fixed automation systems and mobile robots to the introduction of India’s first AI-powered Trakr robot, which features autonomous navigation, modular payloads, and the ability to navigate various surfaces. Addverb, which partnered strategically with Reliance in 2021, has successfully deployed its robotic solutions in diverse sectors, including grocery, fashion, petrochemicals, and healthcare.
The upcoming humanoid robot is designed to be a cutting-edge AI agent capable of processing vast volumes of multi-modal data from vision, audio, and touch inputs. Its dynamic self-learning algorithms will allow it to map its environment, perform delicate tasks, and make real-time decisions in various work environments, such as warehouses, defense, and healthcare. Equipped with advanced GPU support, low-power actuators, and dual-arm mechanisms, this humanoid robot will exhibit bipedal mobility, allowing it to execute complex operations.
Sangeet Kumar, Co-Founder and CEO of Addverb, emphasized the company’s broader mission to not only build a humanoid robot but also foster an ecosystem of downstream companies in the Indian warehousing automation sector. With operations spanning the US, Europe, and Asia, Addverb aims to revolutionize robotics with its upcoming humanoid robot, aligning with India’s ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.
