ABB India celebrates 75 years of operations, reflecting a remarkable journey of innovation, sustainability, and significant contributions to the nation’s industrial and social growth. Established in 1949, shortly after Indian independence, ABB India has been instrumental in advancing electrification, automation, and digitalization across diverse sectors, including utilities, industries, infrastructure, and transportation. Building on a century-old presence through predecessor companies ASEA (Sweden) and Brown Boveri (Switzerland), ABB now serves 23 traditional and emerging sectors in India.

From its Faridabad hub producing energy-efficient motors to Vadodara’s advanced traction technology for railwaysand Nashik’s renewable energy components, ABB India’s facilities embody cutting-edge manufacturing. The Nelamangala campus in Bengaluru, featuring an Industry 5.0 shopfloor, supports robotics and smart building solutions, while Peenya leads in energy-efficient drives and smart instrumentation.
