A3 Names Alex Shikany as Executive Vice President to Drive Automation Industry Growth!

The Association for Advancing Automation (A3) has announced the promotion of Alex Shikany to the Executive Vice President role. Formerly serving as Vice President of Membership and Market Intelligence, Shikany has played a pivotal role in advancing A3’s mission over the past decade. His promotion reflects A3’s commitment to strategic growth and innovation within the automation industry.

As Executive Vice President, Shikany will oversee A3’s day-to-day operations, act as the primary liaison to the A3 Board of Directors, and lead the A3 Leadership Team. His responsibilities will include driving strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration among members, and enhancing member value to propel the organization’s mission of advancing automation technologies worldwide.

A3 President Jeff Burnstein highlighted the association’s rapid growth as the impetus for creating this role. “In the past five years, we’ve doubled our team size, established Automate as North America’s premier robotics and automation event, and expanded internationally into key markets like Mexico and India,” Burnstein noted. “With A3 in its strongest position ever, Alex’s leadership will ensure we continue to deliver value while I focus on long-term strategies, including new partnerships and global initiatives.”
