Nicolás Correa Group to Showcase Groundbreaking Machinery at MACH Exhibition

Spanish machine tool specialist Nicolás Correa Group is set to make a significant impact at the upcoming MACH Exhibition, unveiling what it describes as ‘probably the largest machine at the show’.

Accompanied by its esteemed UK partner, DTS UK, Nicolás Correa Group will present the Fox 60 on Stand 310 in Hall 19. This extraordinary machine has already been sold to a UK customer in Carlisle and will be promptly delivered to its new home straight after the exhibition.

The Fox 60 stands out as a double column bridge-type machine, boasting impressive X-, Y-, and Z-axis travels of 6,000mm, 4,250mm, and 1,750mm respectively. With a distance between columns measuring 3,750mm and a remarkable table size of 6,500mm by 2,500mm, this machine exemplifies power and precision.

Key features of the Fox 60 include a 37kW, 1,298Nm torque, ISO-50 Big Plus UAD milling head – a patented Correa universal milling head capable of 6,000rpm. This innovative technology, based on a double Hirth crown, enables rotations every 0.02º, ensuring unparalleled accuracy and reliability.

Correa’s automatic universal UAD milling heads are celebrated for their precision and versatility, ideal for heavy-duty roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing operations. The machine’s double column structure facilitates high chip removal rates and superior accuracy, making it suitable for machining large parts with exceptional efficiency.
