EcoVadis Awards Gold Rating to Plansee and Silver to CERATIZIT

EcoVadis has recognized the sustainability efforts of Plansee and CERATIZIT, awarding a gold rating to Plansee and a silver rating to CERATIZIT. These certifications highlight the companies’ commitment to environmental, social, and ethical causes. CERATIZIT aims to be CO2-neutral by 2025 and net climate-neutral by 2040, while Plansee targets CO2-neutrality by 2030 and net climate-neutrality by 2050. A significant step in their sustainability strategy is the installation of a hydrogen electrolyser at their Reutte site, transitioning to CO2-free hydrogen production by 2030.

Andreas Lackner, Spokesman of the Executive Board at CERATIZIT, emphasized the validation of their sustainability efforts by the EcoVadis rating, reinforcing their focus on environmental, occupational health, and safety initiatives. Andreas Feichtinger, Executive Director at Plansee, highlighted the company’s commitment to converting hydrogen production processes and supporting customers in achieving sustainability goals.
