Visitors to the MACH Exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham (15-19th April 2024) will have the opportunity to discuss a wide range of CNC machine tools and manufacturing technologies throughout the week.
In addition, guests will be able to witness live demonstrations from one of our Hyundai-Wia HD3100YA Y-Axis CNC Lathes, on tooling supplier and partner Vargus Tooling UK Ltd’s stand (20-359) during the MACH exhibition.

During the MACH exhibition members of the Ward CNC sales and applications team will also be present on the Vargus stand (20-359) to talk customers through the capabilities of the Hyundai-Wia HD3100YA Y-Axis machine during the live demonstrations.
This machine is equipped with hardened & ground box guideways, plus a one-piece heavy-duty cast-iron bed construction for high accuracy & rigidity. The machine also features a BMT65P turret, Y-axis, C-axis & driven tooling and 10″ chuck.
With a max. turning length of 760mm and swing over the bed of 800mm, the machine is equipped with 12 station ATC, while its A2-8 spindle nose offers 3,500 RPM, plus 5,000 RPM live tooling speed, with a FANUC 0IT 15” monitor CNC. It is an impressive machine.
During the demonstration itself, attendees will witness a showcase of precision and versatility. Utilising the high-quality range of Vargus’ cutting tools, the demonstration will encompass a spectrum of machining techniques, including waved form grooving, Y-axis milling, and C-axis Polar milling, all performed with efficiency and accuracy on the HD3100YA.
Spectators will observe the intricate precision of spline milling with live tool gear mill, demonstrating the advanced capabilities of modern machining technology and its potential in manufacturing.
