DMG MORI Open House Pfronten 2025 – Celebrating 30 Years of Innovation
DMG MORI Pfronten, Germany – From February 10 to 21, 2025, we are excited to celebrate…
Erowa has introduced its Vise Power Clamp (VPC) workholding system, engineered to enhance manufacturing reliability and efficiency. The VPC system, designed for seamless integration into various production environments, features two chuck sizes (52-mm and 96-mm) and corresponding chucking spigots, allowing for versatile and secure workpiece clamping.
Integrated Z Support and Status Monitoring:
The VPC system includes an integrated Z support, ensuring precise positioning and stability during machining operations. This support minimizes setup errors and enhances machining accuracy. Additionally, the system’s status monitoring capabilities provide real-time feedback, enabling operators to oversee the workholding process and make adjustments as needed.
Circumferential Seal for Enhanced Performance:
A notable feature of the VPC system is its circumferential seal, which protects the internal components from contaminants and debris. This seal extends the lifespan of the workholding system and maintains consistent performance, even in demanding environments.
Erowa’s VPC system is designed to simplify the preparation process for various workpieces. By standardizing the clamping interface with 52-mm or 96-mm pitches, manufacturers can quickly and easily switch between different workpieces, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. This standardization also allows for compatibility with a wide range of existing workpiece holders, making the VPC system a versatile addition to any manufacturing setup.
The VPC system’s robust construction and advanced features contribute to its reliability and efficiency. The system is engineered to withstand the rigors of high-volume production while maintaining precise and consistent clamping force. This reliability ensures that manufacturers can achieve high-quality results with minimal maintenance and downtime.
Manufacturers and industry professionals will have the opportunity to see Erowa’s Vise Power Clamp system in action at IMTS 2024. Erowa will demonstrate the system’s capabilities and its impact on simplifying workholding preparation and enhancing overall manufacturing efficiency. Attendees can learn how the VPC system can be integrated into their production processes to improve reliability and productivity.
