19th – 21st November – Star GB Open House

The Star GB Open House will be hosted from 19 – 21 November 2024 at our Technology Centre in Derby. We welcome visitors to join us to experience an educational event packed with the latest innovations, expert knowledge and industry updates.

What’s it about?

You are invited to experience the latest technology from Star, with live machining demonstrations across our range and the UK premiere of the SB-20RII sliding head lathe. We will also be demonstrating our latest fixed headstock lathe, the SK-51 Type A. This 2-inch bar capacity slant-bed machine is equipped with twin 12-station turrets and includes the Fanuc iHMI control system.

The latest developments including Step Cycle Pro chip-breaking technology, NC Assist programming software and Star’s innovative new ECO mode will be on show. There will be a wide range of developments on display from our trusted partners, giving visitors all of the product, process and industry knowledge needed to maximise productivity and efficiency.
