Whitehouse recommended a Brother Speedio M200X3 machining centre and a Biglia B 620 Y2 lathe. The Brother is coupled to a robotic loading cell, also installed by Whitehouse, allowing the machine to run 24 hours a day for 6 days a week, quality & quantity of the products produced being both greatly improved. The Biglia B 620 Y2 is a sub spindle lathe with 80mm bore, driven tools and a “Y” axis which allows Unite to produce more complex parts in a single operation and also run overnight unmanned.
