3D printing from 3D People with a little help from Matsuura

3D People are an on demand 3D printing service established in 2015, based in London. Sasha Bruml from 3D People tells Chloe from MTDCNC how automation and software development have have been critical in the growth of their business. Specialising in low volume high value parts 3D People have created an online application where customers can upload a 3D file, see pricing and order, receiving their parts in as little as a couple of days. Using an HP 5210 3D powder bed fusion printer from Matsuura allows them to produce extremely high quality parts quickly and economically due to it’s very short cycle times and the machines ability to recycle 80% of its unused powder. 3D People went with Matsuura due to their openness and technical ability. Matsuura also conducted rigorous testing prior to ordering and offered a comprehensive training package in conjunction with HP.
