Delivers top quality deburring and polishing results on turned, milled and 3D printed metal and plastic components using dry machining
The new GARANT GMT2 vibratory finishing machine from the Hoffmann Group enables individual parts and small batches to be finished automatically in a dry process. With a low weight of just 20 kilograms, recessed handles and a 50-watt mains connection, the machine is extremely flexible to use. Operation using a start/stop timer could not be easier. Equipped with a comprehensive starter kit, the GARANT GMT2 delivers top quality deburring and polishing results on turned, milled and 3D printed metal and plastic components.
Surface finish plays a crucial role in the quality of components. If multiple components need to be deburred and polished, a vibratory finishing system is often used. However, it is generally not worth purchasing a machine for individual parts or very small batches. As a result, these components are often finished by hand. However, this method of working ties up manpower and the results depend on the skill of the individual employee. To ensure a consistently high quality in these situations and ease the burden on specialist staff, the Hoffmann Group has developed the GARANT GMT2 vibratory finishing machine.
Thanks to its compact design (length: 750 mm, width: 400 mm), the GARANT GMT2 takes up very little space. With the aid of its powerful motor, it deburrs and polishes components at 3,000 revolutions per minute using a dry process. The transparent cover on the 2 litre container makes machining quiet and dust-free, while ensuring the progress of the job can be monitored at all times. An ergonomic tipping mechanism then transfers the abrasive and the components to the detachable separating station for separation. The extensive starter kit for the GARANT GMT2 contains two separating screens (hole sizes: 10 and 18 mm), as well as ceramic and porcelain grinding bodies with different geometries, a storage box, a GARANT GreenPlus Flex cleaner and a cleaning cloth, which means that deburring and polishing can begin right away.
