With neutral and open architecture designs, System 3R tooling systems are universally compatible across all manufacturing operations and processes, enabling the quick and seamless transfer of parts between machines in single set-ups – eliminating manual intervention and the need for re-referencing.

Such consistent and exact referencing allows manufacturers to pre-set parts away from machines – reducing machine downtime and increasing part accuracies, which can often suffer with component movement, re-location and transfer.

System 3R’s concept allows users to establish fixed references for all machines in their machine shop by defining each workpiece’s zero point.

The system allows machines to keep working uninterrupted as opposed to sitting idle waiting for job setups to be completed.

System 3R tooling solutions can be used for any manufacturing process – from electrode manufacturing for die-sinking EDM operations to wire-cutting EDM, Additive Manufacturing (AM) and conventional milling.

The System 3R solution portfolio includes the Macro line of work-holding chucks and the Dynafix palletisation system. Macro line chucks are available in standard, high-performance and nano accuracy ratings, along with the MacroMagnum chuck variant.

They feature precise reference elements made from cemented carbide or hardened ground steel that reduce set-up times to just a few minutes, maximize throughput and practically eliminate rejects.

Repeatable accuracies for the Macro reference system range from 0.002 to 0.001mm with a recommended maximum workpiece weight of 50 kg. This reference system is then combined with palletisation, which provides incredible accuracy as parts move between machines and processes, delivering a fully automated work-holding solution.

System 3R Dynafix palletisation enables machining with optimal cutting data without sacrificing accuracy and quality through the use of aluminium pallets with high-alloy steel reference elements and directly measurable Z-references.

Dynafix is a practical, user-friendly reference system that minimises set-up times, increases machine utilisation and provides the foundation for automated production.

System 3R provides fast and precise pallet change in sizes from 25mm in diameter to 400mm x 400mm with the same mounting base. For extreme precision, the system ensures repeatability to within 0.002mm.
