Parts Traceability with Laser Etching

With the traceability of parts becoming ever more critical it’s no surprise that Colchester Machine Tools can now offer their customers a Laser Etching machine. Price includes delivery and training, it just needs a laptop to run the 2D CAD system. The machine can be fitted with a fume extraction system for heavy usage and a rotary unit can also be fitted to allow radial etching. The video shows a turnkey solution, a manual pallet changer, where parts can be loaded in advance while other parts are being lasered. On larger models this can be coupled to a full robotic cell.
