TEAL Expands with New Chennai Plant and Hosur Growth, Strengthening Global Operations!

Titan Engineering & Automation Ltd (TEAL), a subsidiary of Titan Company Ltd, is set to expand its footprint with a new electronics manufacturing plant in Chennai and a large-scale expansion in Hosur. This strategic move is part of TEAL’s ambitious ₹430-crore investment plan, aimed at enhancing its capabilities in precision manufacturing and automation solutions.

The Chennai plant will focus on electronics manufacturing and will be established on leased land. TEAL has already identified the site for its fourth unit, further strengthening its ability to meet growing customer demands. Meanwhile, in Hosur, the company has acquired 10 acres of land to expand operations, reinforcing its position as a key manufacturing hub.

Originally established in the 1990s as a watchmaking unit for Titan, TEAL has evolved into a leader in precision engineering, automation, and modular assembly solutions. The company serves critical industries such as aerospace, defence, semiconductors, automotive, energy, life sciences, and engineering.

TEAL manufactures and assembles complete production lines at its Hosur facility, which are then tested, dismantled, and reassembled at customer sites for mass production. The company has expanded its global presence, exporting machines to Germany, France, and Italy, transitioning from an importer to a global supplier.

With a customer base spanning over 150 clients across 19 countries, including aerospace giants like Boeing, Airbus, and Raytheon, TEAL’s expansion underscores its commitment to innovation, high-precision manufacturing, and global market leadership. This strategic growth will further cement its role as a key player in the high-tech engineering and automation landscape.
