Leamington Spa-based Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of DN Solutions and Zayer machine tools in the UK and Ireland, has released the latest ‘Winter Edition’ of Insight, its popular biannual customer magazine. Now available in digital format on the company’s website, this issue is packed with the latest news, developments, and insights from Mills CNC.
In this edition, the company provides a comprehensive review of its sales performance throughout 2024, acknowledging the challenges faced, particularly in the final two quarters of the year. Despite these difficulties, Mills CNC reflects on the positive outcomes and looks ahead to 2025 with optimism. One of the key highlights for the year ahead is the company’s participation at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025, taking place from 4-6 February at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. Mills CNC will be showcasing a DN Solutions SMX 2100SB multi-tasking mill-turn machine on Stand C160.
Another key feature in this edition of Insight revisits the successful ‘Pushing the Boundaries’ Open House event, held at Mills CNC’s Technology Campus facility in October. This was the first open house hosted by the company since 2019, and it proved to be a tremendous success, attracting over 300 visitors over the two-day event. During the exhibition, 16 advanced DN Solutions’ machines were displayed, alongside Synergi and collaborative robot automated manufacturing cells.
As with every edition of Insight, the magazine includes several recently completed customer case studies. These case studies showcase the diverse range of Mills CNC’s customer base, from engineering start-ups to established OEMs, Tier One companies, and precision sub-contractors. The case studies illustrate how Mills CNC’s machine tool solutions, turnkey applications, and integrated pre- and after-sales support services have helped customers across various industries enhance productivity, improve performance, and streamline their manufacturing processes.
Tony Dale, Mills CNC’s Group CEO, shared his thoughts on the 2024 performance and the outlook for 2025: “This latest edition of Insight provides a brief overview of last year’s sales performance and highlights key events we’re excited about in 2025. Despite tough trading conditions, 2024 proved to be another successful year for Mills CNC, with strong sales of both our advanced large-capacity machines and high-performance multi-tasking machines. We are all looking forward to the challenges of the new year and our upcoming attendance at Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2025. Stay tuned for the introduction of new Synergi automation systems and DN Solutions’ machine tools in the coming months.”
Mills CNC’s latest edition of Insight offers a glimpse into the company’s achievements in 2024 and its promising plans for the year ahead, solidifying its position as a leader in the machine tool industry.
