Harman Unveils Advanced Software Solutions to Revolutionize Automotive Development!

Harman Automotive has introduced two innovative software platforms, Ready CQuence Loop and Ready Link Marketplace, aimed at streamlining automotive software development and creating new revenue streams. These tools are designed to enhance in-vehicle experiences, accelerate development cycles, and drive revenue growth for automakers, Tier-1 suppliers, and developers.

Ready CQuence Loop is a robust software-defined vehicle (SDV) toolchain that provides a virtualized environment for efficient automotive software development. The platform’s Managed Service enables automakers to centralize development and testing processes while Harman manages the underlying infrastructure. Pre-configured workspaces allow developers to begin working within 30 minutes, eliminating setup time and accelerating project timelines.

The toolchain leverages virtualized test benches to reduce the need for costly physical hardware while ensuring accurate and reliable testing. It also supports seamless integration of virtual and physical device testing. Additionally, APIs allow third-party tools, such as embedded simulations, browser-based IDEs, and CI/CD pipelines, to enhance its capabilities, fostering an ecosystem of continuous innovation.

Ready Link Marketplace is a comprehensive digital commerce platform that connects automakers, developers, and users. It enables automakers to deliver a unified, value-driven catalog of apps, services, and vehicle-specific features to enhance the driving experience.

The platform simplifies content delivery through a cloud-based system, reducing operational challenges for automakers. Harman has also expanded its content library to include over 150 apps and entertainment options, providing users with diverse functionalities. Monetization is streamlined with pre-integrated payment solutions, such as Samsung Checkout, creating new revenue opportunities for automakers and developers alike.

Harman’s software solutions are tailored to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving automotive industry. Ready CQuence Loop enhances developer productivity, while Ready Link Marketplace enables automakers to enrich in-vehicle experiences and monetize digital ecosystems effectively.

“Software is revolutionizing the automotive industry,” said Heiko Huettel, Vice President of Software Products at Harman. “Ready CQuence Loop and Ready Link Marketplace make this transformation meaningful for developers, automakers, and consumers by focusing on improving in-vehicle experiences.”

With over 50 million vehicles equipped with its systems and billions of devices supported globally, Harman continues to drive advancements in connected automotive ecosystems. As a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co. since 2017, Harman remains committed to reshaping the automotive landscape through cutting-edge technologies, focusing on efficiency, user experience, and revenue generation.
