AML3D Limited has announced the full operational status of its U.S. technology center in Stow, Ohio. Combining AML3D USA’s headquarters with a cutting-edge manufacturing hub, the Stow facility is strategically positioned with excellent logistics and transport connectivity to serve both U.S. and international customers.
The Stow hub is equipped with an ARCEMY advanced additive manufacturing (AM) system, capable of metal 3D printing industrial-scale parts and components. A second ARCEMY system is scheduled for installation in early 2025, with plans to add up to two more systems, further increasing capacity.
Currently, the facility is fulfilling an A$2.27 million order from the Tennessee Valley Authority, the largest public utility in the U.S. This project aligns with AML3D’s broader investment plans of A$12 million, aimed at doubling production capacity at Stow.
This expansion will enable AML3D to address the anticipated growth in U.S. Department of Defense spending on advanced AM solutions, particularly to support the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Industrial Base. Additionally, the increased capacity will support AML3D’s entry into the U.S. Energy and Defense Aerospace sectors.
The establishment of the Stow hub represents AML3D’s commitment to expanding its global presence and providing cutting-edge AM solutions for critical industries. By leveraging its ARCEMY technology and investing in state-of-the-art facilities, AML3D is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for advanced, large-scale metal 3D printing.
This strategic initiative solidifies AML3D’s role as a leader in the metal additive manufacturing space, with capabilities designed to support industries ranging from defense to energy, driving innovation and efficiency in manufacturing.
