Jaya Hind Industries Pvt. Ltd., part of the Dr. Abhay Firodia Group, has taken a monumental step in advancing manufacturing technology by installing India’s largest 4400-ton high-pressure die-casting machine at its Urse facility near Pune. Manufactured by Buhler-Switzerland, this machine sets new benchmarks in producing complex aluminum structural components, aligning with the increasing demand from the automotive and electric vehicle (EV) sectors.
The installation of the 4400-ton machine allows Jaya Hind Industries to manufacture a range of critical structural components, including cradles, shock towers, housings, and advanced parts for electric and commercial vehicles. This development significantly enhances India’s capability to meet global demand for lightweight, high-strength aluminum components, addressing the growing shift towards sustainable and fuel-efficient technologies in transportation.
