Yamazaki Mazak Appoints IP Grupo as Exclusive Representative for Laser Processing Machines in Spain

Yamazaki Mazak has announced the appointment of IP Grupo as its exclusive representative for laser processing machines in Spain. This strategic move underscores Spain’s growing importance as a key market for Mazak, especially with the region’s rapidly expanding automotive and architectural furniture industries, which present significant growth potential for the company’s laser technology solutions.

Mazak, which already enjoys a strong relationship with its longstanding CNC machine tool representative in Spain, Intermaher, has chosen Madrid-based IP Grupo as its partner to spearhead the growth of its laser business in the country. This new partnership is expected to help Mazak tap into the expanding demand for advanced laser cutting solutions in key sectors such as automotive manufacturing and furniture production.

This development comes at a time when Mazak is experiencing a strong year in Europe, buoyed by robust sales of its laser machines. The company has recently launched two new high-performance machine series — the OPTIPLEX NEO and OPTIPLEX Ez — which have already garnered significant attention across Europe. The OPTIPLEX NEO series offers exceptional productivity and precision, combined with best-in-class environmental performance to help users reduce factory emissions. The range includes the FG-400 NEO, a cutting-edge machine designed specifically for high-speed 3D cutting of long tubes, pipes, and structural materials.

Meanwhile, the OPTIPLEX 3015 Ez series brings affordability, user-friendliness, and exceptional performance to a wide variety of materials and thicknesses. Known for its precision cutting, high mechanical rigidity, and reliability, the OPTIPLEX 3015 Ez is designed to meet the needs of customers looking for a versatile and high-performing solution. This machine will be introduced to the Spanish market in partnership with IP Grupo during the MetalMadrid exhibition on November 20 and 21.
