PETECH Expands Precision Machining Capabilities with Cutting-Edge Rotaries, Probing Systems, and Horizontal Lathes!

Precision Engineering Technologies (PETECH), a Group company of Phillips Machine Tools, has launched three advanced machining solutions under its Performance Series: Rotary Tables, Probing Systems, and Horizontal Lathes. These new additions strengthen PETECH’s portfolio of CNC machining solutions, which are renowned for their precision, reliability, and productivity, supported by industry-leading service and application support. With these new offerings, PETECH aims to cater to diverse industries such as aerospace, medical equipment, electronics, energy machinery, die and mold, automotive, and more.

The Performance Series, which already includes high-performance Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs), is known for its exceptional accuracy and rigidity. Now, with the addition of the latest rotary tables, probing systems, and horizontal lathes, PETECH is well-positioned to meet the growing demands for high-precision machining solutions in modern manufacturing.

As product complexity continues to rise, combining VMCs with rotary tables has become essential for precision operations. PETECH’s 4th & 5th Axis Rotary Tables are designed for seamless integration with VMCs, offering plug-and-play solutions that improve transmission efficiency and support high-speed, high-torque applications. These rotary tables are particularly effective for medium to large part machining, allowing manufacturers to streamline setups and enhance productivity while maintaining exceptional accuracy.

Manual setup and inspection often lead to production delays and costly errors. PETECH’s Performance Intuitive Probing Systems (PIPS) eliminate these inefficiencies by automating the setup, gauging, and measurement processes. The Performance Optical Spindle Probe (POSP40) and Performance Optical Table Probe (POTP) offer compact designs with 1µm repeatability, ensuring stability and precision even at high speeds. This system reduces machine downtime, scrap rates, and human intervention, boosting operational efficiency.

The new Performance Horizontal Lathes (PHL) series is designed for high-speed operations while maintaining exceptional rigidity. These lathes consistently deliver superior precision and can meet tight tolerances in even the most demanding machining environments. The series ensures high productivity rates without compromising accuracy, making it ideal.
