Flex Machine Tools is inviting industry professionals to its Open House event, scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the company’s headquarters in Wapakoneta, Ohio. The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with additional appointment times available for Friday, December 6.

This complimentary event will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn how Flex technology can enhance productivity and optimize operations. The day will feature several live demonstrations showcasing the company’s cutting-edge solutions designed for modern manufacturing needs.

One of the key highlights of the event is the live demonstrations, which will include the FlexJet FLX Waterjet with automated cutting capabilities powered by new IGEMS technology. This waterjet features an advanced five-axis cutting head that allows for precise and complex cuts. Another demonstration will focus on the FlexCNC C-series long-bed machining center, known for its versatility in accurate, high-speed drilling, milling, and tapping of large parts. Live demonstrations will also cover thermal drilling and milling keyways.

In addition, the Flexible Tapping Center will be showcased. This machine is designed to streamline operations for drilling, tapping, and countersinking sheet metal, optimizing the tapping process for greater efficiency. Various pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic tapping solutions, including the FlexERGO Arms, will also be featured to emphasize safe and ergonomic operations for users.

Attendees will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience by using the FlexArm Tapping Arm during the event, allowing them to experience the flexibility and precision of Flex Machine Tools’ solutions in action. Additionally, participants will be guided on a tour of Flex Machine Tools’ impressive 115,000-square-foot facility, showcasing the company’s advanced manufacturing processes and capabilities.
