Sandvik Coromant Strengthens Americas Leadership with New VP of Marketing Appointment!

Sandvik Coromant has appointed Thomas Henry as the new Vice President of Marketing for the Americas, effective November 4, 2024. Henry joins the Americas team with over 25 years of experience in the metal-cutting and industrial distribution sectors, having previously served as the global channel marketing manager at Sandvik Coromant. In his previous role, Henry played a pivotal role in developing innovative marketing strategies and advancing digital transformation efforts for the company.

In his new position, Henry will lead strategic marketing initiatives to boost sales growth across the Americas. His responsibilities include optimizing marketing channels, spearheading product launches, and enhancing brand engagement through a balanced mix of marketing communication activities. Henry aims to strengthen customer connections by delivering personalized experiences that meet customers where they are, offering content in preferred formats and channels. “This new role presents exciting opportunities to engage with customers in ways that resonate,” he remarked, emphasizing the importance of meaningful customer interactions in today’s market.

Henry’s career includes notable achievements, such as developing a global channel partner program and receiving the Top Achiever in Excellence of Leadership and Change Management award in 2017. Veronica Messersmith, President of Sandvik Coromant Americas, expressed confidence in Henry’s appointment, noting that his leadership will enhance Sandvik Coromant’s market position and improve customer engagement across the region.
