Redex USA showcased its advanced portfolio of high-performance machine tool drives at IMTS 2024, impressing attendees with its innovative solutions designed to enhance precision, efficiency, and performance. Among the standout technologies presented were the company’s preloaded rack & pinion systems for linear axis drives, ring gear and pinion for rotary axis drives, and 2-speed spindle drive gearboxes, all engineered to provide constant power to the spindle for optimal results.

The SRP+ and KRP+ Rack & Pinion Dedicated Reducers featured at the booth are known for their minimal transmission error, ensuring smooth operation with low noise, which significantly improves the surface finish in machine tool axes. These enhanced models offer up to 40% greater torque capacity compared to their predecessors, reflecting Redex’s commitment to continuous innovation. Another key highlight was the Dual KRP Rack & Pinion Drive, a closed-loop system that combines two KRP reducers with a DualDRIVE mechanical preload to eliminate backlash, requiring only a single motor to drive the axis.
