More products out the door, less hassle for operators?
If you want to improve the productivity of your turning machine, Fastems has a brand-new concept…
Fastems will present its latest CNC automation solutions at AMB 2024, taking place from September 10-14 in Stuttgart, Germany. Located at booth A43 in Hall 10, Fastems will feature a variety of systems designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce unit costs, and improve lead times and quality for high-mix production environments (Fastems) (Fastems).
1. Flexible Pallet System (FPS): Fastems will introduce the Flexible Pallet System (FPS), which is designed to automate 4- and 5-axis machining centers. The FPS accommodates 300-630 mm pallets or zero-point plates and features a 360-degree design to optimize shop floor space utilization (Fastems).
2. MMS Version 8.2: The latest version of Fastems’ Manufacturing Management Software (MMS) will be showcased, highlighting new features that enhance machining sustainability and flexibility for turning CNCs. MMS 8.2 offers advanced capabilities for planning, running, and controlling high-mix-low-volume production (Fastems).
3. Turret Tool Changer: A new automation concept for changing tools in lathe turrets will be introduced. The Turret Tool Changer aims to minimize manual tool changes and measurement times, thereby increasing spindle uptime and reducing costs (Fastems).
4. Digital Manufacturing Solutions: Fastems will display its Factory Cockpit and Work Cell Operations (WCO) solutions. Factory Cockpit provides real-time production data visualization and analysis, while WCO integrates standalone machines and manual operations into automated systems, promoting paperless production and efficient resource allocation (Fastems) (Fastems).
Fastems’ booth will also host daily learning sessions to educate attendees on optimizing manufacturing operations. These sessions include:
Visitors to Fastems’ booth can engage with automation experts, attend live demonstrations, and learn how to leverage Fastems’ solutions to optimize their production processes. The company will also offer personalized demo sessions to showcase how their systems can be integrated into existing operations (Fastems) (Fastems).
