Precision Perfected: Starrett’s Cutting-Edge Optical Measurement Solutions

The optical and video-based measurement systems from The L.S. Starrett Co. blend high-resolution imagery, user-friendly software, and precise mechanical platforms to deliver consistent and accurate measurement outcomes.

Introducing the Starrett KMR-MX 200 manual vision system, featuring a manual X-Y stage motion, a 6.5:1 zoom lens, and the MetLogix Mx200 digital readout in a stacked display format. Ideal for diverse industries like medical, aerospace, and defense, this system empowers operators to conduct measurements seamlessly, without the need for Windows-based software or a PC.

Furthermore, Starrett’s HDV horizontal digital video comparator merges the best of vision and optical comparator technologies. Equipped with MetLogix M3 touchscreen software and the M3 DXF/FOV option pack, HDV systems can import DXF/CAD files over a network for automatic 2D comparisons to engineering designs using Video Edge Detection. This eliminates the need for Mylar overlays, enhances measurement throughput, and eliminates operator subjectivity.

For repetitive measurements and automatic CAD file comparisons, the AVR200 multi-sensor vision system offers a full CNC benchtop solution. Additionally, the Starrett HD400 horizontal dual-lens optical comparator boasts a two-lens mount, facilitating instant switching between magnification lenses or video camera adapters.
