Made to Measure, a provider of metrology equipment and services, is extending its business by opening a satellite office in Orange County, California. Made to Measure has been operating from its headquarters in the Chicago area for over 30 years. This second site, according to the corporation, will provide a spectrum of services and a local presence for its growing client base on the West Coast and in western states.
“With many manufacturing companies located in Orange County and California representing over 14% of the total U.S. economy, it is a natural next step for our organisation,” says Made to Measure president and CEO Sven Bley. “A local presence will enable us to provide the same level of outstanding service closer to our customer base.”
Quinn Bley, CMM sales and service director, will oversee the new West Coast technical centre. Bley adds vast knowledge and experience to this family-owned firm as a third-generation member. He will offer technical assistance, CMM calibration, repairs, upgrades, and onsite retrofits. Bley will also serve as a liaison for other elements of the organisation based at the corporate headquarters, such as metrology training, CMM programming, and dimensional inspection.
