10-Minute Tour At West End Precision

In this week’s episode of Swarf & Chips Ten Minute Tours MTDCNC’s Lyndsey & Chris head off to sunny Bideford in Devon to visit West End Precision. As Alex Dziurzynski shows us around one of their 3 buildings we discover that West End Precision specialise in high volume turned parts. From their very first lathe, a Nakamura-Tome TW-20 that was already 10 years old when they bought it 20 years ago & still going strong, to the very latest Nakamura-Tome WT-150 II being delivered during our visit, West End Precision have built a fantastic relationship with their main supplier, Engineering Technology Group (ETG) & Nakamura-Tome Machine Tools. With regular heavy investment in machines and a large mix of brands West End Precision now run around 78 machines all turning parts, with future plans to increase their existing levels of automation. Founded by Alex’s grandfather in the 1970’s & now run by Alex & his semi-retired father this 3rd generation business is a must go to company for high volume turned parts.
